Tell Me a Dragon…

on

From words to wonders, Lower Prep students brought dragons to life! After exploring Jackie Morris’s magical story “Tell Me a Dragon,” these budding sculptors transformed imagination into reality in their art lessons.

Their process—molding clay around a dragon pupil, carefully imprinting textures with various tools and applying an oil pastel resist effect—created enchanting dragon eyes that seem to glow with otherworldly light.

Each unique creation reflects its maker’s personality: some strong and fiery, others gentle and mysterious. These aren’t just art projects but windows into children’s boundless creativity, where literature and sculpture merge into magical expressions that capture the essence of the imagination.
