Last weekend, April in Upper IV travelled to Bath University, to compete at the GB Schools Biathlon Championships, which she had qualified for earlier in the year. She came 11th in a very competitive field of athletes, after an excellent swim and a strong run. The weekend before last, April represented Berkshire at the English Schools Athletic Association (ESAA) Cross Country Championships, at Sefton Park, Liverpool. She ran a strong race, coming 197th out of 350 runners. She also gained valuable experience competing at this high level amongst the top athletes in the country. Well done April, we are so proud of your achievements, your commitment and dedication!
