Stick Man Adventure

on

Little Knellies joyfully bade farewell to Autumn and embraced the wintry chill, inspired by Julia Donaldson’s beloved children’s book, Stick Man.

Enthralled by the character’s adventurous journey, the children explored creative uses for a stick. The children collaborated to rescue Stick Man’s family from the ice, dressed them in warm wool and coloured them to create colourful outfits, painted Stick Man family portraits to craft story canvases, and shared stories about their own families.

They also crafted models from snow dough, made fishing rods, and measured their heights using the Stick Man Family stick. The list goes on….so if you wish to meet the Stick Family, come to Little Knellies and have a look!

“Stick Man, oh Stick Man, you excellent friend!
Thanks! Thanks a million! Thanks without end!”
