Oliver Butterworth was born and raised in Lincoln, developing his love for music performance from an early age, notably in the National Children’s Orchestra and National Youth Orchestra. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music where he gained his Bachelors and Masters (with honours). He has played with many orchestras across the UK including London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, English National Opera, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Opera House, RTE National Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and as a soloist with English National Ballet. Oliver also works as a regular dep on the West End shows Les Misérables and Devil Wears Prada which are both brilliant to play and very different shows!
