The U13’s travelled to Leighton Park on Wednesday for another softball cricket match. The Abbey fielded first and everyone bowled very well, displaying great economy. Pick of the bowlers were Prisha, Khushi and Olanna with six wickets between them. Leighton Park finished on a score of 259 with some fantastic fielding by Chloe and Georgia. 

The Abbey batted dominantly with the pick of the batters Sara, Ivy and Jeanie all playing really well timed shots into the gaps to run quick singles. Coming into the final over, The Abbey required 15 runs and despite some great shots they fell four runs short!

Players of the match were awarded to Prisha for her bowling and Olanna for her batting.
