Sixth Form Students Skate Into the Holiday Season at Reading Winter Wonderland

on

Eighty-eight excited students celebrated their final Senior Games of the season with a festive trip to the ice rink at Reading Winter Wonderland—and the energy was sky-high from the moment they stepped onto the ice. Whether they arrived as confident skaters, nervous wobblers, or total first-timers, everyone embraced the challenge with laughs, cheers, and the occasional dramatic tumble. Friends linked arms, attempted spins, raced each other (carefully!), and showed off some surprisingly impressive moves. Even those who started the day clinging to the barrier were gliding with growing confidence by the end. The rink buzzed with music, chatter, and plenty of holiday spirit, making it the perfect way to wrap up the season. By the time the session ended, cheeks were rosy, legs were tired, and every student agreed—it was an unforgettable, joy-filled way to kick off the holidays together.
