Last Thursday’s Senior School Sports Day was a fantastic celebration of sport, teamwork and House spirit. We were incredibly proud to see so many students enthusiastically representing their Houses, giving their all in every event and supporting one another throughout the day.
The standard of competition was exceptional, with fierce racing and determined performances across the track and field events. Students showcased an impressive range of skills, talent and resilience, making for a joyful and memorable day of competition.

There were also some outstanding individual achievements, with two new school records set in the discus. Congratulations to Nimechi (Upper IV), who threw an incredible 27.92m, breaking the Junior Record set in 2012, and Ellanya (Lower V), who set a new Senior Record with a throw of 18.33m.

Beyond the competition, the atmosphere was incredible with both students and staff, cheering passionately from the side lines and waving colourful banners of encouragement. The ice-cream van was a welcome addition, which added to the sense of celebration.
A huge thank you goes to all of our students for their enthusiasm, sportsmanship and House pride, as well as to the House Captains and Sports Captains for being great role models in organising, supporting and participating. Thank you to the staff who supported events and supervised students, the Maintenance Team and IT Team for setting up and supporting the event and last but not least, the PE and Sports Department, particularly Ms Floyd for organising such a successful and enjoyable event.
