Senior Flute Ensemble

on

On the 17 December, the Senior Flute Ensemble were honoured to be invited to play at the Project Singers’ Home For Christmas concert at Queen Anne’s School. We played five pieces, starting with the Carol of the Bells, followed by Dance of the Mirlitons and Trepak from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite. After the interval we entertained the audience further with Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas followed by Sleigh Ride. As well as thoroughly enjoying performing to an appreciative audience, it was great to hear other musicians, including vocal solos and duets, choirs and even handbell ringers!

It was a lovely evening and we all had so much fun performing. We’d like to thank Miss Briguglio for coaching and playing with us as well as accompanying some of the choir items. Also our thanks go to the Project Singers for inviting us to play in their concert.
