Rosa’s Swimathon

on

We are incredibly proud to share that Rosa, Lower III has embarked on a remarkable challenge this month in support of the charity Sands (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society).

Rosa has chosen to take part in the Sands November Swimming Challenge, where participants can opt to swim 2, 5, or 10km over the course of the month. In true Rosa fashion, she decided to go all in — choosing the 10km challenge, which means completing an amazing 400 lengths of her local 25m pool.

Her dedication and determination have been truly inspiring. Since the summer, Rosa has been getting up early every weekend to swim from 8.00 to 9.00 a.m. — entirely of her own accord. To kick off her charity challenge, she swam an incredible 100 lengths on the very first day!

Rosa is taking on this challenge in loving memory of her cousin Mia, and to give something back to the charity that has supported her family since 2011. So far, she has already raised over £200 — a fantastic achievement and a wonderful testament to her commitment and compassion.

We are so proud of Rosa for her determination, kindness, and community spirit — she truly embodies our school values. Well done, Rosa!
