After victory for the Lionesses in Euro 2022, we are delighted to welcome the co-founder of Women in Football, Anna Kessel MBE, for the first of our Parent Talks this academic year.

Anna has been described as a “fearless adversary of sexism” in the list of the 50 Most Influential Women in Sport by The Independent. She has recently left her role as Women’s Sport Editor at The Telegraph to join Sky Sports.

Anna will be in conversation with Head Will le Fleming, discussing opportunities and challenges facing female athletes and the advancement of women’s sport.

The Parent Talk series is part of The Abbey Ideas + Passion Programme (Abbey IP): celebrating innovative thinking, ideas and curiosity across our community. Parent Talks will range from useful information for one age range through to talks to which all parents are invited to come and explore interesting and valuable ideas. Abbey staff and external speakers will share thinking, prompt debate and celebrate lifelong learning.
