Upper I – Lower III students representing the Junior School Eco Committee took part in this inspiring, hands-on day of learning at the Whitenights Campus, University of Reading.

There were 4 practical sessions provided to help make schools greener and climate-ready:

Measuring weather and climate using technical instrumentation in the atmospheric observatory.
Exploring and mapping biodiversity of the University grounds.
Identifying lichen species on trees and monitoring particulate matter PM 2.5 and PM 10 pollution levels in the air.
Exploring renewable energy.
