Ten Lower III pupils took part in a football festival hosted by The Abbey and run by Reading FC community trust, as part of the Reading School Games. Eight different schools took part bringing girls together having fun playing football.

The Abbey team had a fantastic morning playing some great passing football. The team were complimented by the referees on many occasions for their positive play and attacking style. The pupils loved the competitive ethos of the festival and learned a lot playing against a whole range of different abilities.
