¡Qué rica la comida latina!

on

On Tuesday, we celebrated World Languages Day by bringing in food to our Spanish class! Everyone brought a different Hispanic dish to eat and share with the class. We had a huge variety from homemade churros to quesadillas, Sra. Trujillo gave us a taste of her Spanish culture with her homemade Spanish omelette. Which was very delicious!

I thought that this was a really good experience because we could try all different foods that we might not have had before. Making the food was really fun as I haven’t made much Hispanic food before and now I realise what I was missing out on! We also made presentations to show the ingredients and why we liked our food, all written in Spanish, using our knowledge of foods which we have been learning. All the food tasted amazing and it’s safe to say everyone enjoyed it!
