Purple Hearts for HM The Queen – on public display in Windsor

on

100 decorated hearts created by our Upper I and Upper II Junior School students will be on display at Windsor Museum from today until Sunday 4 October.

The Junior School has been excited to work with BBC Radio Berkshire to commemorate and celebrate the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Windsor feels particularly special with so many mourners flocking to the town to pay their respects.

BBC Radio Berkshire has written to the Junior School with their thanks for taking part in this collaborative community activity.

“Thank you so  much for creating such lovely messages to Her Majesty The Queen. It has been so touching to see them all and all the love and hard work that went into them. The hearts will be on display at Windsor Museum to allow people to come and see all the children’s beautiful words and pictures. The hearts will bring a lot of joy to many people at a very difficult time”.
