Last term the Psychology department launched the first Psychology model making competition at The Abbey. The competition was open to all students and models could be of any experiment or theory within Psychology and of any medium, even cake. The winning entry for the lower school was Lottie (Upper IV) who chose to depict ‘imaginary barriers – Pike Syndrome’, a form of ‘learned helplessness’ and in the upper school, Emily and Gabriela (Lower VI) who used Lego to model the lobes of the brain. Well done, prizes to follow.
