Gabriella (Lower V) won the county level of the Road to Wimbledon competition that she qualified for through The Abbey round and played in the finals at Wimbledon in mid-August.

She had a great experience playing at Wimbledon and had her first time playing on grass. She managed to achieve a good win in her final group match. Unfortunately she lost a very tight match 7-5 in the first set tiebreak and a close second set. 

She also came up against a top player who eventually won her group and she lost 6-1 6-4.

So she ended up coming third in the group and only the top two proceeded to the knockout stage.
