The Philosophy and Theology department, from The Abbey Senior School, visited the Junior School on Saturday to participate in the Adventure Zone.

It was wonderful to meet so many Junior School students and see how insightful they were in tackling one of the biggest and most prominent philosophical questions: ‘What counts as a Person?’ Students and visitors became Space Explorers and having crash-landed on Planet PaT, they decided which of the alien species to make friends with and which to eat.

They looked at factors like intelligence and nutritional value to solve the moral dilemma. We look forward to seeing how their thinking develops as they look at real world problems in their Senior School Philosophy and Theology lessons.
