The Netball Development Trust are raising awareness about the need for Netball kit and equipment in countries such as Ghana, Kenya, Uganda and Zimbabwe, where the growth of the game is continuing to develop in these countries.

In support of this fantastic cause, our Head of Netball Miss Whelan has been busy deflating 40 of our pre-loved Netballs to ship overseas this week. In addition to this, the PE department have made a donation to the charity.

We believe that by giving our kit another chance in life, this will have a positive impact on individuals who share a love for, and value the importance of, physical activity.

We hope that the community groups who receive our delivery experience as much joy playing Netball as our students at The Abbey do!
