Last week on Monday, I wrote and presented an assembly to raise awareness for the flooding in Pakistan. This week on Tuesday, Sophia and I decided to run a bake sale together to raise money for a charity called “Global Helping Hands” to help people affected by the floods. 

Ms Brunskill and Maryam in UVI helped us with the logistics and preparation and we came up with a small team to help us sell the food for the bake sale and it proved to be quite a successful event! We highly appreciate everyone who brought in items for the bake sale to support this event. Last but not least, we would like to thank everyone for bringing in money for the charity. We managed to sell everything by the end of lunch! Thank you everyone!
