Upper I students were outraged to hear that 50 words linked to nature were removed from the Oxford Junior Dictionary and replaced with indoor words such as: Voicemail, hashtag, blog and database.

We were inspired to write poems about the words that were removed to ensure that these words remain in our vocabulary and do not become lost.
