Nikita in Upper V, won First Prize in the University of Sheffield’s Harry and Margaret Kroto Prize for Innovative Use of Technology in Learning 2026; a prize that celebrates the legacy of Professor Sir Harry Kroto, a Nobel Prize-winning scientist.

Her winning entry, “How Does the Immune System Work?”, impressed the judges with an original idea using a crime investigation theme, excellent storytelling, and engaging use of animation and live-action video to explain a complex scientific topic. The judges described the video as an outstanding example of creative science communication.

As a result, Nikita has been awarded £300 in Amazon vouchers. Congratulations and well done for this outstanding achievement.
