This weekend, Gabrielle and Milla (both in Upper IV) travelled to The English Institute of Sport in Sheffield for the U14 Club Netball Nationals with Eagles.

Day 1 consisted of an unbeaten run of 4 matches. The results were:

28-12 win v Teignbridge
32-22 win v Conquerors
39-8 win v Sheffield
31-16 win v Aces

This meant they were through to Day 2: the play off’s and were guaranteed between 1st – 6th place. Every team stepped up their intensity as the determination grew after every match in anticipation for the grand final. The results were as follows:

25–13 win v Grangetown
16-21 loss v Oldham
27-13 win v Leeds

Eagles finished in an impressive 3rd place overall!

Gabrielle and Milla – we are so proud of you both and feel very lucky to have such experienced yet humble players in our school U14 performance squad. Enjoy the celebrations with your teammates… We can’t wait to hear all about the matches and see your bronze medals soon!
