Last Sunday, Millie in Lower I travelled to the University of Bath to compete in the Great British Schools Biathlon Finals. She qualified for this event earlier this year by excelling in a 25m swim and a 400m run, competing against hundreds of children nationwide. Simply qualifying for the finals is an incredible achievement!

In the weeks leading up to the competition, Millie has dedicated herself by putting in extra training in both swimming and running. Her commitment, perseverance, and drive to push her limits have been remarkable.

Against tough competition, Millie finished an impressive 24th in the country for her age group—a fantastic result that reflects her hard work, passion, and talent. Congratulations, Millie!
At the weekend April (Lower IV) travelled to Bath University to compete in the National Schools Biathlon finals. She had a fantastic day gaining valuable experiencing at competing at the highest level. She did amazingly well knocking 18 seconds off her 1600m time where she finished 8th, and an excellent 3 seconds off her swim time. April finished 25th overall in the whole country. An achievement I know she will be proud of, and one she will continue to build on in future events. We can’t wait for the Athletics season to begin. Well done April!
