Marshmallow fun for Microloan profit with Upper III

on

In Upper III we have been given a loan to make into a business. We were feeling a bit low last week as we had not sold much or made any money at all, then we had a thought … We asked Mrs Mair if she would help us make some sweets that we could sell at school. We agreed on making marshmallows with her help after school.

Making marshmallows was an amazing experience I thought it would take us forever to make marshmallows but it actually only took us an hour, less if don’t count the clearing up!

I loved watching the egg white going from whites to a puffy cream and finally when we each tried a marshmallow and it was the best marshmallow we ever had. We will be selling our fresh home made marshmallows at break time in the Hardcastle Hall. Don’t miss out! They’re the best ever!
