During the course of this term the LV Art students have been working on a project about hats. As part of their coursework they have been lucky enough this week to visit a local milliner Adrienne Henry. The trip gave the students a valuable opportunity to speak with Adrienne about the process she goes through to design and construct her hats and learn about what inspires her designs.  Moving forward the students will be designing and constructing their own hat sculptures based on the theme of ‘Narrative’. The visit really helped inspire the students and we look forward to sharing some of their hat designs later in the year.
