Lower V Textiles

This week the Lower V Textiles students have been exploring the ancient Japanese art of Shibori dying. The students distorted cotton fabric by folding, pleating, scrunching, twisting and some experimented with stitch. The fabric is then compressed preventing the absorption of dye. Below are some of their exciting examples.
