Lower V French Food Tasting

on

Our GCSE class sampled French cuisine as our current topic is food. Everyone was allocated different french classics to bring in such as brie, madeleines, croissants and much more. Our group particularly enjoyed tasting the several varieties of cheese such as Camembert, Brie & Port Salut which were all different types of french cheese.

We really especially enjoyed the Port Salut cheese as we had never tried it before and it tasted delicious. Another favourite among our class was the different types of French biscuits such as Biscoff and Lu Chocolat Biscuit. We studied a variety of words to describe our French favourites, including how to describe the texture of the food such as croustillant, meaning crunchy or if the product was healthy; malsain meaning unhealthy and bon pour la santé meaning good for you.

Overall this was a very fun experience which helped improve our French speaking skills! We hope that everyone gets motivated to try new French foods, you never know you could discover a new favourite! Nous aimons la cuisine française!!
