Lower IV – A Christmas Carol

on

Lower IV pupils enjoyed a dramatisation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol on Wednesday 9 November in the Richards Hall. This half term in English lessons, we are studying Dickens’ classic tale of poverty and redemption in Victorian London.  Quantum Theatre’s fast-paced and funny adaptation was just the thing we needed to give us an overview of the story.  Three actors energetically presented all three of the Christmas spirits, Bob Crachit and his extensive family, the Fezziwigs and other characters, and of course Scrooge himself.  At the end of the play, there was an opportunity for the girls to meet the actors and ask them about the production.
