Lower III at Adventure Dolphin

on

On Wednesday, Lower III put their resilience and teamwork to the test at Adventure Dolphin. The coach there was filled with equal parts excitement and apprehension. Regardless, all the students took every activity and challenge in their stride.

The Thames was conquered by canoe as the students played games, raced one another, and practised different paddling strokes. Even after a capsize, you couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces. Next came archery, where they first learnt the basics before honing their skills by attempting to pop balloons with their arrows.

Finally, it was time for climbing. They worked together to scale the walls and abseil back down, demonstrating impressive strength and courage. It was lovely to see some of them overcome their nerves, and everyone embraced the challenge.

A huge thank you goes to the Adventure Dolphin team for keeping us safe and happy throughout the day, while providing such a fantastic experience. Well done, Lower III!

Haniya and Harmani reflected on the experience: “The canoeing was hard at the beginning, but we persevered and didn’t give up. So, we improved immensely overall”.

Gabby exclaimed, “It was super fun and I loved the whole day”!
