Lower I visit the Ure Museum

on

This week, Lower I enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to the Ure Museum of Greek Archaeology at the University of Reading, providing a wonderful opportunity for learning beyond the classroom. The girls explored and carefully handled Egyptian artefacts, learned about the fascinating process of mummification, and participated enthusiastically in a role-play of the journey to the afterlife. It was an informative and enjoyable morning that beautifully complemented their learning in the classroom. The Lower I teachers were extremely proud of the feedback received, which praised the girls for ‘their impeccable behaviour, thoughtful questions and enthusiasm.’
