Loose Parts Play

on

Loose parts play is an open-ended play experience that encourages children to explore and interact with materials around them in a variety of creative ways.

This week at Little Knellies, the children celebrated the beauty of hair by creatively redesigning their hairstyles using a variety of textured materials. Through their artwork, they wonderfully expressed their individual ideas and sense of identity.

Here is what some of the children commented.

“That’s too much hair! Come and see my hair.”

“I like my work…I like my face…I made my rainbow hair, my earrings and two pasta legs.”
