Emily (Upper V) was invited into the Sky Studios in London for a live interview, along with her Scouting leader and another scout explorer.

Emily confidently shared her experience of engaging in a Scouting Christmas Service project, collecting and delivering Christmas cards in Caversham. Each card delivery request was accompanied by a small donation, which raises money for either the Scout group or local community organisations. In the past, money has been put towards a community defibrillator and a new ‘mess tent’ for the Scouts. This year, the money raised will go towards renovating a workshop for community use.
Reflecting on her experience of being interviewed on live television, Emily recalled a fascinating morning out, entering the Sky Studios early in the morning, having hair and makeup prepared, and answering questions in front of the camera. She said, ‘It was nerve-racking as I didn’t know what they were going to ask beforehand, but it was also exciting. I’m glad I did it and it was a really interesting experience.’
Emily spoke with confidence during the interview and we are proud of how she represented her scouting group, as well as the dedicated work she participated in delivering all the cards.
Well done, Emily!
