Letter from the Mayor of Reading

on

In the Autumn term, Upper II students explored governments and political systems in our unit of inquiry. They then focused on taking action by writing persuasive letters to the Mayor of Reading, Glenn Dennis, about issues in our community. Each student reflected on an aspect of local life they believed could be improved and wrote compelling letters to encourage the mayor to make positive changes. Last week, the students were thrilled to receive a thoughtful response, thanking them for highlighting these issues and bringing them to his attention.
