Last Thursday saw nearly one hundred swimmers from across the senior school compete for the House Swimming Cup. It was an exciting afternoon of racing and it was a success in itself seeing so many of our students passionate about taking part in the competition on behalf of their house.
The day began with an exciting showdown in the 100M Individual Medley between our fastest swimmers, including a school record-breaking performance by Anaya S in Lower V. This was followed by the inaugural House Captains’ Boat Race secured by Kensington captains Erin and Siya.

Following an inspirational performance by the house captains, the afternoon progressed on through the individual events before culminating in the medley and freestyle relays. Results varied across year groups and events but would eventually culminate in Kensington securing 1st place (135), Paget 2nd place (116), Carrington 3rd place (98), and Ducat 4th place (82).
A huge thank you from the PE department to all those who participated in addition to our very own house captains for their efforts in both organising and inspiring, their teams.
