On Wednesday 30 September, our Junior School Council enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Houses of Parliament in Westminster! The newly elected School Council were joined by our new Junior School Head Girls and two Senior School Prefects, as well as Mrs Bassett, Mrs Newton and Dr Mohan. We travelled by train and tube before enjoying an excellent tour of this incredible building, including the opportunity to stand in both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. We learned all about how laws are made and even discovered the fascinating process known as ‘Parliamentary ping pong’! It was a brilliant day of learning, exploring and seeing London at its very best. What a memorable experience for our young representatives!
