Junior School Charity Afternoon

on

Following our popular Fun Run on Friday 26 May, Charity afternoon made a comeback and students from Lower I – Lower III created a hive of excitement as they set up their stalls ready to showcase entrepreneurship that would rival any episode of ‘The Apprentice’! Lower and Upper Prep came across to spend their money and were spoiled for choice. From hairdressing to archery, nail care to delicious sweet treats and delicate tattoos to guessing the names of three soft toys, the buzz of the afternoon was a celebration of every one of our values we uphold as a school community.

The money raised for this, combined with the sponsorship money from the Fun Run, will be donated to four worthy charities; BIBS, the Buscot Ward at the RBH, The Anthony Nolan Trust, Sightsavers and Sophie’s Legacy, with 3 students choosing to continue the fund for the Turkey Syria cause.  All these charities have touched the lives of many of our staff and students. All that remains is the exciting draw for the Raffle which will take place soon. Watch this space to see who the winners will be from Little Knellies, Abbey Gardens, Kensington, Somerleaze and the Staff body!
