Interludes Recital

on

Last weeks interlude recital was a nice break in the middle of a busy week. I really enjoyed listening to the third movement (Andante) of Rachmaninov’s Cello Sonata in G minor, it was very beautiful and I was very grateful to the small audience who came to support. I hope they enjoyed “Colours of the Wind” as I was glad of the opportunity to play for an audience even though it was a small recital with Haylen setting a really high bar.

Sophie, Lower VI

On Wednesday lunchtime, I had the opportunity to perform during the lunchtime interludes. I played ‘The water is wide’ on my saxophone and this was my first time performing in front of a small crowd. Performing was a bit scary at first but once I started it went very well. It was also really interesting to see what the other students played too!
