Interludes Recital

on

This week showcased our fabulous pianists in the Interludes Recital. All year groups were represented and the friendly audience heard a wide range of music styles, from ‘Il porco rosso’ by Joe Hisaishi and the well-known ‘I Giorni’ by Einaudi to Grade I pieces – and even a beautifully flowing piano duet, ‘Badinage’, by Shumeng and Ruili. Some took advantage of the recital to practise playing a piece for their forthcoming music exam and others decided to exercise their performance skills by sharing the latest piece that they were learning. It was wonderful to see so many students supporting each other and the staff were amazingly supportive, too! Huge thanks must be extended to Berry for acting as MC for this recital, as well as to Haylen for taking so many photos and video snippets. Well done all!
