Interludes Recital

on

Wednesday’s Interludes Recital at The Abbey was just amazing this week. We had four incredible performances from Emily (Lower VI), Emma (Lower IV), Grace (Upper III) and Anika (Lower V).

First up was Emily, opening with “Adagio in E flat major” by Bach, with beautiful smooth tones on the saxophone. Then came Emma who played “Rondo” by Mozart, a piece actually meant to be paired with an Adagio on the viola. Grace then followed with “Heather Hill” by Freda Swain, projecting a calming melodic sound on the clarinet. Anika finished the show by performing “Air varie” by de Beriot with long melodies and fast passages. We hope to see what next week’s recital will bring us, as this week’s was truly fabulous. Well done to all of you, (shoutout to Poppy for filming it)
