Interludes Recital

on

Poppy from Upper V introduced the performances in our Interludes Recital this week and also played the violin beautifully. Toyah began our programme of lunchtime music with the much-loved “A Spoonful of Sugar” from Mary Poppins which she sang joyfully and with confidence. Poppy then followed with a performance of her GCSE solo piece, “Sometime Maybe,” showcasing her dynamic range and impressive intonation in preparation for her recording later this week. Toyah closed the short recital with another song – a toe-tapping rendition of “42nd Street” from the musical of the same name by Harry Warren. Amidst busy rehearsals for House Music and Drama, we were very grateful to our performers for taking the time to share their music with our appreciative audience and we are already looking forward to the next recital!
