The 2025/26 Interludes Recital Series resumed this week featuring both pianistic and vocal skills from Yosola (Lower V) and Isabella (Upper VI). Yosola started the academic year in style with two contrasting pieces, one in a jazz style and the second a reflective composition, played beautifully at a slower tempo. Isabella then confidently performed a choral extract from Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater which she has been learning for a forthcoming audition. As it is essential to practise performance skills, particularly for an approaching exam or important occasion, we hope that we shall see many more of our musicians taking advantage of these small and friendly recitals during the course of the year.
