Interludes Recital

on

We enjoyed some varied music in our final Interludes Recital of the academic year. Sophia, a regular performer on the piano in our recitals, shared some clarinet music this week, playing a jazzy study to start our feet tapping. She was followed by Ms. Lee and Ms. Tull playing a Japanese piano duet describing the autumn season and then Shree performing a hauntingly beautiful piece on the violin. This is one of the pieces that Shree has included in her diploma programme and she used the recital to practise performing it to an audience before her exam the following day. The recital concluded with some Beethoven by Ms. Lee, a fiery piece of music that involved some rather fiddly finger work! Thank you to all performers and supporters who have attended the Interludes Recitals this year; it has been a joy to hear some beautiful music every Wednesday lunchtime. Please return next year!
