Interludes Recital

on

It was an appreciative audience that greeted Amelia, Jo and Maddie who performed in the Interludes Recital before the half-term break. All performers showcased their musical talents via pieces from a range of musical periods from the Baroque and Classical eras to music from a more contemporary composer. Amelia sang a beautiful piece of Grade V standard by Handel and Jo followed with some fiery fingers playing Clementi and Beethoven. Maddie had been persuaded to share her impressive saxophone skills by performing one of her exam pieces in preparation for the big event on the following day and the calm melody provided a welcome opportunity for the audience to stop and breathe in Mental Health Awareness Week. Congratulations to all performers – watch this space for more performances next month!
