Interludes Recital

on

Last week:

Three pianists, a violinist, cellist, trumpeter and Recorder Ensemble were well received by the appreciative audience at our Interludes Recital this week.  The programme began with the inaugural performance of the recently formed Recorder Ensemble and was followed by some spirited playing from Nethali and Ruili on the piano and Mia on the violin.  Isabella then performed music in complete contrast, entertaining the audience with the well-known Chattanooga Choo Choo on the trumpet.  Hazel and Chloe then closed the recital with some beautiful playing on the piano and cello, conveying the unique styles of their pieces to the audience with great panache!  We are already looking forward to the final Interludes Recital of the term next week when once again, a variety of instruments and musical styles will be showcased.

This week:

In today’s recital, we had two lovely piano performances by Kira and myself, some delightful recorder pieces from Caitlin and a beautiful guitar rendition of a Million Dreams by Elaine. As well as Candy, who also introduced all the players, singing and playing on ukulele ‘How Far I’ll Go’ from Moana. Additionally, we had loads of people coming to watch and support, both students and teachers, making it great practice for performing music as well as a wonderful experience all round.
