Interludes Recital

on

Three pianists and one singer were well received by the appreciative audience at our first Interludes Recital of the academic year.

The programme began with a gentle performance of Einaudi’s Primavera by Vaala, closely followed by Avika’s spirited playing of Handel’s Allegro in F on the piano.

Grace then successfully multi-tasked as both performer and MC for the occasion, introducing her own vocal item – an excerpt from the beautiful Agnus Dei from Mozart’s Mass in C. Hazel then concluded the recital with Avid-86, a composition which was inspired by Japanese anime!

As the opening recital of the term, we could not have asked for a more diverse programme, showcasing music from very different eras. Don’t miss the next musical treat next Wednesday in MR2!
