How The World Works

on

The Reception children have really enjoyed growing their own plants, fruit, vegetables and flowers as part of their ‘How the World Works’ unit of Inquiry this term.

They concluded their investigations with two brief visits. On the first trip they travelled to Gray’s Farm where they toured the fruit fields on this working farm, sampling some produce as they went! The sun shone, and the strawberries were juicy!

For the second trip, they visited Henry Street Garden Centre. After looking at all of the tools, plants, and shrubs, the girls enjoyed feeding the fish in the aquatics centre and a summertime treat of ice cream.
