Last week saw the return of our annual House Poetry competition. Heats took place on Tuesday and Wednesday and saw a diverse range of poetic performances: from Dr Zeuss to Emily Dickinson to Shakespeare. We even had two acts write original compositions about their own House! Two performers from each House progressed to Friday’s final judged by Dr Tullis and guest judge Vic Pickup – published writer and poet and host of Reading Stanza Poetry Café. The standard in the final was exceptionally high making the judge’s decision very tricky.

Final placings were as follows:
3rd – Gabrielle, Upper IV (Carrington)
2nd – Lase and Fikayo, Lower V (Paget)
1st – Violet, Upper VI (Kensington)
Congratulations to all who took part!
