House Netball

On the morning of Monday 5 December, Upper I took part in their house netball tournament. Everyone played every match and we had loads of fun. Isabelle said ‘I felt that playing house netball improved my friendships with my team’ and Avika said ‘ I really liked playing against the other house as it felt like a real match’. There were lots of goals scored for the winning team which was Carrington! The runners up were Kensington and in third and fourth were Paget and Ducat. It was great to see their own signs supporting their house and it has got the PE department excited for sports days and our annual Fun Run.

In the afternoon, Lower III took part in their house netball tournament. There was lots of exciting game play and team spirit. Kensington stole the show with winning position and 22 points, Ducat came second with Paget and Carrington in third and fourth place. Mahi said ‘ I had so much fun, the time flew’ and sports leader Bella said ‘ Even though we lost some of our matches, we came back stronger.’

We are looking forward to Lower I and Upper II completing their tournaments next week and after Christmas.
