House Art 2026 filled the school with colour and creativity as students from Ducat, Kensington, Paget and Carrington worked together to design this year’s House banners. Led by our Sixth Form students, House Captains and House staff, the week brought every year group into the creative process. Each banner reflects not only artistic skill but the individuality, teamwork and spirit of its house.

Kensington
Kensington created a striking collage made from individual tiles, each representing a student’s personality or ideas. Shades of Kensington blue link the pieces together, with the house logo at the centre. The design celebrates collaboration, showing how many unique contributions can form one united and vibrant community.
Ducat
Ducat’s banner places Dash the Dragon proudly at the centre, symbolising strength, resilience and unity. His wings represent ambition and support, while the many scales reflect every member of the house. The Ducat crest, held by Dash, highlights the house’s roots and the spirit shared by past and present students.
Paget
Paget’s sun‑themed banner represents warmth, growth and community. Butterflies, patterns and flowers celebrate diversity, while the yellow bus charts the Paget journey from Upper III to Sixth Form. Ducks symbolise unity, and kites reflect the freedom to express individuality. Together, these elements show Paget as a place where everyone can grow and belong.
Carrington
Carrington’s design moves from a sunset landscape into a galaxy, symbolising ambition and limitless potential. A car travels along an open road echoing the theme of their House Music and Drama show, with mascot Carrie in the driver’s seat. The banner reflects the shared journey of the house and the creativity that drives it forward.
Well done to everyone who participated, however, there could only be one winner – congratulations to Kensington for winning this year’s competition, and a huge thank you to our judges: Dr Tullis, Mrs Bambrick and Kate Lockhart (Artist in Residence). House Art 2026 showcased imagination, teamwork and pride across all four houses, leaving us with banners that will be treasured for years to come.
