The Holroyd Howe People Awards is a distinguished annual event dedicated to honouring the exceptional individuals and teams whose contributions within the catering industry stand out. This year marked the 8th edition of this special ceremony, with fourteen distinct awards presented, each highlighting various facets of excellence. We were particularly excited to introduce a new category for 2025—the Client Award.
It is with great pride that I share the following recognitions for The Abbey School:
- The Abbey School Catering Team was nominated for the prestigious Client Award.
- Catering Deputy Manager, Rob, was shortlisted for the Gamechanger Award.
Nominations for this year’s awards were open from 1 January to 19 February 2025. We were thrilled to receive a record-breaking 519 nominations across all categories, including 76 submissions for the new Client Award category, reflecting the enthusiasm and support within our community.
The Awards Ceremony took place on Friday 16 May in the heart of London, just moments away from iconic landmarks such as Piccadilly Circus, Westminster and Trafalgar Square. It was an unforgettable evening, where all shortlisted individuals and teams were celebrated for their remarkable achievements.
I am delighted to announce that this year, The Abbey School Catering Team was honoured with the Client Award—a testament to the outstanding service, dedication and excellence they consistently deliver.
